Ordering & Returns

Placing An Order:

When you’re thinking of placing an order with Forest Lark please bear in mind a few details that make us a little different from commercial fast fashion. All the items are made-to-order so please allow up to 4 weeks before your new item is sent out, this could be up to 6 weeks during busy periods so if in doubt please get in touch.  


All our items are made to order therefore we do not accept returns. Once payment is made the sale is final. You must have read and agreed to these terms and conditions before placing your order.

Forest Lark is not responsible for return shipping costs or duty reimbursement in the case of international purchases.

Forest Lark will, however, cover the return costs for faulty items. You are advised to arrange your own insurance for returns as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

Faulty Items:

From time to time despite our best efforts their may be small faults with your garment, Forest Lark is not a machine and therefore sometimes there is human error. However, please be assured that in these instances we will fix any problems that arise. This does not entitle you to an immediate refund, this will only be issued if the garment is not fixable. As part of our philosophy we want to be conscious of our waste and avoid adding to more landfill - this is why it is so important that we offer to fix your garment.

Please note that goods which are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear; by accident or through misuse will not be accepted as faulty.
We recommend caring for your garment by not over washing and using ECO detergents to maintain the fabrics lifecycle. Refer to garment care details on swing labels.

We always try to show the colours as accurately as possible but please be aware that photography and different monitors, devices, mobiles may appear differently. If unsure, please contact us to request fabric swatches. Please note these do come with a carrier charge.

Repair Service:

Forest Lark is passionate about minimizing waste and therefore we care about the garments we make and want them to last as long as possible. If your garment develops a fault we will do our best to fix the problem and get your garment looking as good as new. Simply contact us. Please note Forest Lark will not be responsible for postage or items lost in postage.


All parcels are sent in a reusable tote bag and packaged in a recycled cardboard box. The parcels will be sent using Royal Mail 48hr signed for service and you will be issued with a tracking number once your parcel is sent out. We cannot be responsible for lost parcels, however we will do all we can to try and locate said parcels. For all international orders customs duties may be charged and Forest Lark is not responsible for payment of this duty.
